Bob Dylan is hardcore sex moviesfar too cool to care about winning a prize.
On Thursday, Dylan was awarded the prestigious Nobel Prize in Literature "for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition," but he doesn't really seem to give a damn.
It seems as though the beloved singer and songwriter didn't think twice about winning the award, as he has yet to get in touch with the Swedish Academy or indicate whether he will attend the ceremony on Dec. 10.
The iconic 75-year-old rocker has kept his mouth shut about the honor, despite several attempts from the academy’s permanent secretary, Sara Danius, to get in touch with him.
In fact, Dylan is playing it so cool that he performed a concert at The Chelsea theatre in Las Vegas on the same day he won the Nobel prize and didn't say a word about the award. Casual.

According to The Guardian,Danius told state radio SR that as of right now the academy is not taking any further action. "I have called and sent emails to his closest collaborator and received very friendly replies. For now, that is certainly enough," she said on Monday.
In case the award didn't sound important enough, Dylan is the first musician to ever win the Nobel Prize in Literature, joining famed writers like T. S. Eliot, Gabriel García Márquez, Samuel Beckett and John Steinbeck.
Who knows ... maybe as a recipient of several Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Pulitzer Prize, and various other literature and music-related honors, Dylan is just plain tired of celebrating his own greatness.
Though the poet doesn't seem to be too pumped at the moment, after hearing the news his fans swarmed social media to celebrate on his behalf.

Though the academy hasn't heard from Dylan, Danius says she's not worried. “I think he will show up," she said. "If he doesn’t want to come, he won’t come. It will be a big party in any case and the honor belongs to him."
We don't know how Dylan feels about his latest achievement right now, but perhaps the answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind.
