After an Axiom Mission 1 delay Saturday,Anne Marie Gonzales Archives NASA, Axiom Space and SpaceX teams expect the SpaceX Dragon Endeavor to undock from the International Space Station Sunday, according to NASA.
Weather permitting, hatch closure is now expected at 6:45 p.m. ET April 24. The departure was delayed Saturday due to weather conditions expected at splashdown, Mashable previously reported.
Splashdown is expected off the coast of Florida at about 1 p.m. Monday, April 25 if all goes well today, according to NASA.
At 6:30 p.m. ET, you can tune in for the 6:45 p.m. hatch closure live coverage at AxiomSpace.com and NASA.gov.
At 8:30 p.m., you can tune in for undocking live coverage at NASA.gov.
The mission is a step toward efforts to build a private space station and commercial hub, according to Axiom.
The crew, who'll conduct multiple experiments in the space station, includes astronaut Michael Lopez-Alegria; investor and pilot Larry Connor; investor and former Israeli Air Force pilot Eytan Stibbe, and investor and astronaut Mark Pathy, Mashable reported.
