Gaode018 ArchivesWednesday launched China’s first English-language map service for overseas users, aiming to provide a more convenient travel experience in the country as the Chinese mapping platform supports the national call to enhance inbound tourism services. Overseas users can download the English version of Gaode through the App Store and Google Play. According to the National Immigration Administration of China, 64.88 million foreign travelers entered and exited the country through various ports in 2024, an 82.9% increase year over year. Starting Dec. 17, 2024, China further relaxed its visa-free transit policy for foreigners, extending the stay duration from 144 hours to 240 hours. [Gaode, in Chinese]
