Bill Clinton loves Police Academy. And Chelsea Clinton loves A Wrinkle in Time,Watch Sexy Beggars Pudding Online as we found out in her speech at the Democratic National Convention this week.
Now, more people might love the classic children's book, too. Sales of A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle jumped on Amazon after Clinton's speech Thursday.
Slate first spotted the spike in popularity.
In her speech introducing her mother, Clinton recalled how her parents always listened to her ideas.
“I remember one week talking incessantly about a book that had captured my imagination, A Wrinkle in Time," she said.
That comment inspired Amazon buyers to search for the book in question. Immediately after Clinton's speech, before Amazon updated its statistics, A Wrinkle in Time was No. 376 on the site, Slate reported. Twelve hours later, it was up to No. 85.
Two days later, it's at No. 60, a full 316 slots higher than before the speech.
The book, published in 1963, is a classic children's science-fiction and fantasy novel. Ava Duvernay is currently adapting the story for the big screen, with none other than Oprah Winfrey set to play a role in the Disney film.
Maybe they can carve out a cameo for Chelsea, too. After all, the book is her favorite.
