We've all been in this situation before: You hit "send" on Inexperienced Experience Of The Summer (2015)an email, then wish you could take it back. Maybe you typed someone's name wrong or entered the wrong email address.
With the newly updated Gmail app — the first real overhaul in four years — for iOS, you can now retract the email before it really goes out.

To unsend an email, just tap the "Undo" button in the lower right corner after you've hit the paper plane send icon.
But you have to do it fast. You only get five seconds to hit undo before the email sends. And unlike the desktop version, you can't set it to longer intervals up to 30 seconds.
You'll also notice Gmail app's got a fresh new look that resembles the Android version, which makes use of Google's Material Design language.
Google's also made search faster with autocorrect suggestions and added in swipe gestures for archiving and deleting.
While I wish I could work without email, I can't. In recent years, I went from Apple's Mail app to Gmail and finally settled on Microsoft's robust Outlook for my email needs. I've been testing the new Gmail app for the last few days and I have to say, Gmail's back in the running for best email app on iOS.
Google Calendar for iOS also got updated alongside the new Gmail app. It now supports iOS' Spotlight Search so you can easily find events, reminders and goals without needing to open up the Google Calendar app.
There's a new month view and week view in landscape mode, and alternate calendar support for non-Gregorian calendars such as the Lunar, Islamic and Hindu calendars.
