Amazon Prime Day is USA Archiveshere and so are the deals — lots and lots of deals. But if you want to access Prime Day, then, yes, you'll need to get Amazon Prime. It's in the name, after all.
But if you do not have Prime and want to get in on the deals on electronics, fitness supplies, robot vacuums, and much more, you can do it quite cheaply. In fact, you might be able to do it for free.

If you're not a Prime member and have never used a free trial, then you can sign up for a 30-day free trial. But remember, you'll have to be sure and go back to cancel your Prime membership before the 30 days have ran out.
If you've already used your free trial, however, things might get a bit more expensive. Amazon Prime costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year. At that point, it's up to you if the discounts on Prime Day deals is worth the cost of a subscription.
