Apple's AirPower just wasn't meant to be Pihit-- the wireless charging mat was cancelled at the last minute. But doesn't mean you shouldn't buy a beautiful cover for your non-existent AirPower.
Dbrand, a company that sells skins and covers for a variety of Apple products, says it decided to sell AirPower skins despite the product not being available.
SEE ALSO: Google Home can now talk to your tulipThe idea, it seems, is to spend some money ($4.01, to be exact) on an AirPower skin, have it delivered to your doorstep, randomly throw it onto any flat surface, and weep quietly. I mean, you can just start weeping right now, without the skin, but where's the fun in that?
Dbrand says the skins are built with "unrivaled precision" and offer "unlimited customization," with the company's goal being very simple: "Take your money by any means possible."
As always, when dealing with accessories for non-existent things, you should check the date said accessories are being launched on. In this case the product does appear in to be on dbrand's store, although it's worth noting that we only got so far as the shipping details page. Still, if it's not an actual product then it definitely should be -- it's surely the perfect gift for that one friend you have who always defends Apple no matter what.
