Even after her spectacular 2017 Super Bowl halftime show,I Wanna Cum Inside Your Mom 22 Lady Gaga wasn't exempt from internet trolls and their incessant need to comment on people's bodies.

Several articles were written, published and shared commenting on her stomach, among other things.

It feels silly even acknowledging the fully unnecessary critiques -- if someone watched her 13-minute, high intensity, multiple costume change, hanging-from-the-rafters performance and they only thing they took away from it was a lukewarm observation about her exposed midriff? There's really nothing to say to them.

Lady Gaga, being the artist and voice of hope that she is, did, though.

I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too. No matter who you are or what you do. I could give you a million reasons why you don't need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you.
