The Beto 2020 enthusiasm began, oh, four seconds after the Texas Senate race was called in favor of infamous soup clown Ted Cruz. It confirms what was already evident on Twitter and in our souls -- people are thirsty for Beto and they want to keep seeing him around.
Were the calls premature? Yes. Were they a coping mechanism? Also yes. But when a man who said he was the Zodiac Killer to seem more relatable wins over the rabbit-petting, f-bomb dropping, no-PAC-money-taking string bean of our dreams, we have to keep ourselves afloat emotionally somehow.
