Today, tens of millions of Americans will vote for the first female nominee from a major political party, Hillary Clinton.
Amongst those proudly casting their ballots for Hillary are many women born before the Aug. 18, 1920 ratification of the 19th Amendment guaranteeing their right to vote.
The website iwaited96years.com profiles many of these joyful women from across the country. It features their photos, stories, and hopeful words about Clinton becoming America's first female president.
