The Horror Archivesinternet is reaching for the tissues after a stranger's kind gesture to a mom traveling with her baby earlier this week.
Teacher Monica Nelson, who is pregnant, had been anxious about flying with 20-month-old Luke without her husband there to help, according to TODAY. Her fears were confirmed when Luke started to grow restless on the plane.
That's when fellow traveler Reid swooped in. Reid offered to help, and when Nelson agreed, he took Luke in his arms, soothing him as he walked up and down the aisle.
The moment was so touching that Andrea Byrd, another passenger on the plane, took a photo and posted it to Facebook. The photo has since been shared over 108,000 times.
"[Reid] did not complain," Byrd wrote. "He just told her that he was a dad, and wanted to help her so she could rest."
"I was in tears," she continued, "...because it showed me today that there are still good people out there in a world full of turmoil."
So far, Facebook agrees.
And to top off this already tear-inducing tale: Reid also has a son named Luke.
