Nintendo made it official that Bowsette,Watch Woman in Her 20s Who Has Luscious Matured Curves Online a vivacious, fan-created character that melds together Bowser and Princess Peach, is not a thing.

With the release of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxerapidly approaching on the Nintendo Switch, a sharp-eyed fan on ResetEra realized that Nintendo included a description on the official site for the game that makes the internet's favorite gender-bent Super Mario character officially non-canon.

In case you missed the whole Bowsette thing, here's a quick recap: There's a new item in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxecalled the Super Crown, which turns Toadette into Peachette, who looks almost exactly like Princess Peach except with a Toadette aesthetic spin. An artist who goes by Ayyk92 created a short comic that imagined Bowser using the Super Crown, turning into Bowsette and igniting quite the contagious spectacle in the Mario fandom.

Once more people caught wind of Bowsette, the internet became awash with artwork of Bowsette. It's still happening, and you can check it out yourself but just be aware that there's a lot of... lewd depictions. Yes, people are horny for Bowsette.

People are so enamored with Bowsette that Nintendo apparently became aware of this and decided it should make sure this wouldn't be associated with the family-friendly brand by officially stating that "only Toadette can use this item!"

That exclamation point makes it pretty clear that Nintendo wants no part of this. But hey, the internet is gonna internet; you do your thing folks.
