It’s a big day here at Mashable: We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership with Google that will bring our immersive vertical video storytelling to a new audience via search.
Ladies and sex swing videosgentlemen, meet AMP stories.
Mashable is one of eight publishers involved in the development of AMP stories with Google, and we’re proud to have had a hand in shaping the new format with our unique perspective on tech, culture, and entertainment.
Our debut AMP stories include an essential guide to Marvel's Black Panther, a tongue-in-cheek examination of Instagram's most absurd beauty trends, and an absorbing explainer on Silicon Valley's favorite gossip app.
Each AMP story is filled with custom video, animation, sound, and text developed by Mashable's editorial team. You flip through pages like a digital, interactive magazine, and every story is accessible via your web browser: no new apps or irritating updates required.
To access AMP stories, visit g.co/ampstories/mashable on your smartphone. Our stories will appear in a new "Visual Stories" carousel below the search bar.
AMP stories joins Mashable's acclaimed portfolio of vertical video formats, including our industry-leading Snapchat Discover channel and Mashable Reels, a dynamic editorial experience hosted on Mashable.com.
Other launch partners for AMP stories include the Washington Post, Conde Nast, Vox Media, and Meredith.
