That price change only applies to people who had that plan when it wason offer and have been grandfathered into the new system. Second, existing subscribers to Paramount+ Essential will actually see no price change at all. They will continue paying $5.99/mo.

This combined with recent price increases for other services like Max and Spotify make it clear that cutting the cord isn't quite the money-saver it used to be.
