SINGAPORE -- National hero Joseph Schooling has been a busy man since he returned to Singapore,ancient eroticism but he found time to commemorate his historic gold medal win by getting inked.

The tattoo on his right bicep is of the Olympic interlocking rings symbol, to represent the five continents coming together to compete.

A video of the tattoo session was posted on Instagram by the Singapore Swimming Association and has since received almost 5,000 likes.
Schooling also posted a picture of his tattoo onto his social media accounts with the caption: "It's been a couple years but I think I've finally earned that tattoo."

According to The Straits Times, this is Schooling's second tattoo. His first ink is located on his shoulder and is of a Longhorn in reference to his alma mater, the University of Texas.
