For the past few days,Submission Season 1 Episode 1 (2016) the internet admired the size of Knickers, the massive Australian cow (or technically a steer) who towers over his brethren.
At six feet, three inches tall and weighing 1.4 tonnes, or roughly 3,086 pounds, Knickers is a behemoth who is difficult to match. But now a challenger has entered the ring.
SEE ALSO: The big cow has inspired a lot of hope and joyA steer called Dozer in Manitoba, Canada, measures six feet, five inches tall, just eclipsing Knickers' height.
As reported by CBC, Dozer came to an animal sanctuary called Kismet Creek Farm, which is run by Karl Schoenrock and his wife Raelle. They saw Knickers making waves on the internet, and decided to see how their Dozer measured up.
"We were kind of blown away. Nothing super official, like Guinness official, but that's what we got," Schoenrock told the news outlet.
Much like Knickers, the sheer size of Dozer meant that he was too big for slaughter. Dozer was rescued from a beef farm, and taken to the sanctuary where he'll live out the rest of his life.
"When I first saw him, I was giddy," Schoenrock added. "He's just so massive. His head is so huge compared to anything I've ever seen before."
Despite the size, Dozer is apparently a gentle giant, and doesn't mind a scratch behind the ear or two.
