The news of Johnson's appointment has been met by a range of reactions, from stifled laughter to utter panic, which comes as no surprise given the former mayor of London's, er, unusual track record in the diplomacy arena.
While it has not been verified whether the cardboard apology comes from BoJo's neighbour or a contrite protester, we can only assume the sign was posted out of a sense of obligation to fulfill an ancient code of neighbourliness -- to the world, that is.
