Here, a puppy named Paul Anka, dresses in an adorable set of PJs and plays around in a video ad for a slumber party with him.
Karen Hirsch, the public relations director at LifeLine, told Buzzfeed Newsthat they "received a lot of interest around the sleepover with Paul," adding that he "was a great sport for his photo and video shoot and loved his pajamas."
Paul had spent nine months at the shelter, but the family he had a slumber party with adopted him the very next day.
Hirsch explained the benefit of the slumber party program, which they're hoping to offer with more dogs now: "In Paul’s case, his new family had been hesitant to adopt a pit bull, but when they had him overnight, all their hesitation went right out the window."
"It is much harder to get pit bulls adopted because of people’s preconceived notions. Pit bulls make great companion dogs — they are incredibly loyal, silly, and have the biggest smiles around."
For those dog lovers living in the Atlanta area, contact the Life Line Animal Project to book a dog slumber party of your own.
