A pro-Brexit mayor of a French town has proposed to name a street "Rue du Brexit" in a reference to Britain's vote to leave the EU,Blessed Ninong (2023 ) Full Pinoy Movie but the joke has backfired.

He described it on Twitter as an “homage to the decision of the sovereign British people”:

The official account for the Leave campaign hailed the decision as a "fine choice!":

Sanchez told radio station France Bleuthat the party had "already received messages of congratulations from Great Britain".
However, many Twitter users were quick to note that the road in question is in a bleak industrial area and is itself a "road to nowhere" that winds in a circle to return to Rue Robert Schuman, named for a French statesman who is widely considered one of the EU's founding fathers:
